Hey all,

We will be attending summernats this year, and hope to see a few of our mates cars there on display and a few being unveiled.

Good luck to Terry Keys, and Jake Camelleri good friends of ours who are working frantically on their cars still to get them to the elite hall.

The 34 rod we were hoping to unveil is not on and will be joining both Pete (Fitzy) and Fang and Gusto in releasing the car at motorex this year, so it should be huge event.

Aaron has been working flat on the Datsun over the last 2 weeks changing it over to a full manualised auto with 6200 stall and transbrake. Should be fun!!

Update on Trilogy (FC), its in primer and looks unreal, should be applying some paint in the next few weeks, and Fang and Gusto’s EH is in the same category.

Catch you all cruisin at the nats!!!

This years show was bigger and better than ever, with our own car Gambo’s VY ute being unveiled to an eager audience. The car was well received with Jon Kosmoski (inventor of Hosue of Kolor and paint guru) mentioning on a few occasions that he loved the color combinations and the originality of the whole car.

Some great cars where at the show with special mention going to Mick Fabar and RAWR, which was a credit to him and his team, glad we could be involved with the the build, even if it was a small role. There are pictures coming soon in the gallery section, and an update of the rides section is underway to include new shots of Gambo’s ute.

I guess now we start preparing for Summernats, with a new car being unveiled there also, tight lips on this one but we will reveal its pre-48.

Cheers.

We are already shaping up for next year Motor Ex event with, at this stage, two possible unveils for the Fitzpatrick Speed Works team.

One of those being Peter’s highly anticipated FC, which we can now reveal is dubbed “TRILOGY” due to this being it’s third incarnation as a show car. The car is a few weeks away from making the trip south to go to Trevor Davis for body work and paint.

The other is Fang and Gusto’s EH, which is currently down at Trevor’s and receiving the full show car treatment. Both cars are closely guarded secrets on specs but loosely we can say that both cars will have over 800hp, have over 325 size rear rubber, and 6-spot brakes all round. That should wet the appetite.

See you cruzin’

The team is pretty happy so far with the results, with the center piece of the car being the paint being currently worked over by Detail FX (check out the GEAR page for a link). With those boys weaving their magic the paint should pop even more.

Cheers
